Reflections- Shz Aali waqar, Mohtaram Jaferus Sadiq BS, DM Tafheem, during Shafahi imtehaan, on the topic of Business Mindedness - 26th Rajab 1443, Feb 27, 2022, Surat
Background:
Along with Talabat, Shz Saheb also asked some prominent Mumineen Business persons as well as senior Bhai sahebo attached with Tijaarat Rabeha idaara, to sit and participate in the discussion. The Talabat recited Ameerul Mumineen Kalam Mubarak enunciated in Syedna Taher Saifuddin Moula R.A, risala shareefa. Then Shz Saheb asked Talabat to do fehwa of the kalam mumbarak. One by one they started. However, Shz Saab was so full of his thoughts that he helped each talabat by elaborating further on each line.
Here is my My take away according to my understanding. (Qusoor in interpretation is entirely mine, while any worthy conclusions are attributed to Moula tus, whose taa'at enables me to do such analytical assessments.)
1. In teaching of Conventional Economics, it is said that It's a contest between "Unlimited wants" of human-being and "Limited Resources" at their disposal. However, in the light of Quran majid Aayat sharifa, Allah can create unlimited resources for those who talab from Him or through vasila of His Awliyah kiraam with Safa un Niyyat and Ikhlaas.
2. There is a tremendous difference between the attitudes of those who are business minded and those who are service minded.
3.There are situations, when a business minded person can behave like a service minded person and vice versa. For example, If a person although in business but compromises by ignoring namaaz or Ashara meeqat and prefers to attend to his clients, then he is a service minded person. Why? Because, effectively he has become ghulaam of his clients forgetting the unlimited resources which Allah can bestow upon him, if he choses to depend on Allah / Awliyah kiram and not others.
4. Similarly, if a person who may be in service or khidmat, he can still exibit Business mindedness. For example, if he is restricted in practicing his Deen (shariat) by his employer, say by not giving him raza to attend Ashara Mubarak, and the person quits his job, he is business minded. Why? Because he is putting his tawakkal on Allah subhanahu and His Awliyah kiram who have limitless resources and can compensate him in many ways in comparison to his employer.
5. Ameerul Mumineen Moulana Ali S.A. exhorts every mumin to be "Hurr" and explains that true"Hurriyat" (Azadi) is in being an "Abdullah" and not being a subordinate to any other entity, whether a human being or "duniyavi wants".
6. In conclusion, Once a person accepts zamaan na Moula as his mufeed unconditionally and follows His directives in all spheres of life, he automatically stakes his claims to the unlimited bounties (resources) available with Waliullah. Thus he becomes a "hurr" (azad) in this world and the world hereinafter.
